JESUS CHRIST WALKS IN NDONDOL, SENEGAL: AN INSPIRING TESTIMONY

This is a deeply inspiring story full of hope.
What is happening in Ndondol, about 60 miles from Dakar in Senegal's Diourbel region, perfectly illustrates the power of active faith and a ministry centered on service, prayer, and personal testimony. The decision of Brother Bary Kalidou and his wife to leave their comfortable life, settle in a remote location, and begin missionary work without a fixed salary is a testament to their sincere and selfless commitment to the Christian mission.

IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL CELEBRATION ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, 2026
Their ministry, marked by prayer, miracles, healings, and witness, has enabled many people to experience the love and power of God in a tangible way.
The fact that 63 of the 67 people baptized came from the Muslim community shows that the message of Christ touches hearts beyond religious or cultural barriers when it is communicated with compassion and authenticity.

THE NEXT STEP
Structuring a new community is just as essential. The four pillars (pastoral visits, JA youth groups, community centers of influence, and socio-economic development programs) are elements of a holistic vision: it is not only about preaching the faith, but also about transforming people's daily lives. This will lay the foundation for a living church, embedded in and integrated into the community and promising for the future.

YOUR SUPPORT
Your prayers will be a powerful force in bringing together all the positive energy needed to establish this new community and support the ministers who will be working there.

Your financial and logistical support will also be welcome in helping to build an Adventist community center in Ndondol.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
We wish to pay tribute to our God for His constant support and to all the organizations that have supported this initiative: OCI through Boaz Papendick, Farm Stew, Adventist World Radio (AWR) and the Adventist Mission in Senegal. TOGETHER WE WILL SUCCEED; With God, the impossible is possible.
Finally, we give thanks to AWR, whose financial support enabled us to provide logistical support to Barry's ministry by purchasing food, which was served at the end of each Bible study, clothing and shoes for Bible students, and a mobile baptismal font, all for a total of $1,445.

To God be the glory.
