ADRA MALI : PROVISION OF HYGIENE AND SANITATION KITS TO EIGHT HEALTH CENTERS IN TOMINIAN DISTRICT

“Clean hands, a clean future: the cleanliness of health centers is a right for all and a duty for everyone’s health.”
As part of the implementation of the GFFO project, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, the NGOs ADRA-Mali and AFAD Mali provided hygiene and sanitation kits to eight health centers in the Tominian District.
A total of 486 hygiene and sanitation materials and equipment were distributed across three communes of the Tominian District in order to strengthen sanitary conditions in local health facilities.
The beneficiary health centers include:
Tominian Commune:

• Tominian District Referral Health Center (CSRéf)

• Tominian Central Community Health Center (CSCom)

• Kanséné Community Health Center (CSCom)

Koula Commune:

• Koula Community Health Center (CSCom)

• Waramata Community Health Center (CSCom)

• Fion Community Health Center (CSCom)

Fangasso Commune:

• Fangasso Community Health Center (CSCom)

• N’Dienso Community Health Center (CSCom)

This support aims to improve hygiene and sanitation conditions in health facilities, while contributing to the prevention of waterborne diseases and infections related to poor hygiene.
Through this initiative, the GFFO project reaffirms its commitment to supporting local health services and promoting a safer health environment for the populations of the Tominian District.
