Treasurers, accountants, and cashiers from the Conferences and institutions of the West-Central Cameroon Union Mission (WCCUM)—68 in number—gathered at the Yaoundé Adventist College from December 28 to 30, 2025, for a seminar aimed at exploring ways and means of financially supporting the Mission.
The theme of the seminar, “Anchored in the Word, Faithful in Financial Stewardship in the Service of the Mission,” speaks volumes. Financial management in the Church is not merely about figures, budgets, or reports; it is a sacred ministry carried out under God’s watchful eye for the advancement of His mission.
The treasurers, accountants, and cashiers of the Conferences and institutions of the WCCUM acknowledged that biblical principles must always guide financial decisions. The management of God’s resources must be conducted with integrity, transparency, accountability, and reverence for the true Owner of these assets.

These moments of training and experience-sharing, spiritual refocusing, and alignment with the Church’s vision enabled Marius Trésor KABEYENE DINOGUI of the General Conference Auditing Service (GCAS) to equip participants with essential fundamentals for mastering end-of-year account closing procedures and preparing audit documents in order to obtain standardized audit opinions.
