WADCOM: First Meeting of the New Leadership

Abidjan, Wednesday, August 20, 2025 – The West-Central Africa Division Administrative Committee (WADCOM) met at the Division headquarters under the leadership of Pastor Bassey Udoh, newly elected President of WAD, together with his collaborators.

During this landmark session, several key decisions were made:

• Appointment: Pastor John Baysah was appointed Acting President of the West Africa Union Mission, effective immediately.

• Year-End Council Venue: Accra, Ghana, was officially designated as the host city for the upcoming WAD Year-End Council, scheduled for October 28 to November 5, 2025.

• Solidarity in Action: A contribution of 2,000,000 FCFA was voted to support Cabo Verde in response to the devastating floods that struck two islands, causing loss of lives, many injuries, and extensive damage.

The WAD invites its members to uphold these initiatives in prayer, as the Church continues to advance its mission and extend solidarity to our brothers and sisters in need.
