UAC Holds 27th Graduation Ceremony: “Bearers of Light” Step Into the Future

Nanga-Eboko, Cameroon – The main campus of Aimé Cosendai Adventist University (UAC), nearly 200 kilometers from Yaoundé, came alive on August 7, 2025, as the institution celebrated the graduation of its 27th class.
This year’s cohort of 350 graduates proudly bore the name “Bearers of Light.” They represented the university’s diverse faculties, including Theology, Education, Nursing, Computer Science and Management, and Law.
The event was chaired by Professor Ibrahim Mbouombouo Ndassa, Inspector at the Ministry of Higher Education. Also in attendance was Pastor Omer Aristide Nkonda, Executive Secretary of the Central West Cameroon Union Mission, who represented the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
In his address to the graduates, Professor Félix Nicodème Bikoï—an alumnus of the Adventist Seminary in Nanga-Eboko and current Chair of the National Commission for Private Higher Education—painted a vivid picture of the world awaiting them. He reminded the graduates that the light of God’s Word would be their compass as they step into new challenges.

The Rector of UAC, Pastor Dr. Aristide Nguelé, seized the occasion to urge the new alumni to remain committed to excellence in all their endeavors. The ceremony also highlighted academic achievement, with awards presented to the top performers from each faculty.
With music, speeches, and the joy of proud families and friends, the day marked not only the close of an academic journey but also the beginning of new opportunities for UAC’s latest ambassadors of light.
