DIGITAL ALIGNMENT :
Abidjan Hosts a Key Training for the Digital Management of Ecclesiastical Data

The West-Central Africa Division (WAD), in collaboration with the General Conference, is launching a major initiative to modernize the Seventh-day Adventist Church's data management. After its initial phase in Ghana, it now gathers delegates from the French-speaking countries of its territory.
The WAD headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, becomes the nerve center of a significant administrative modernization project. From May 8th to 12th, 2024, in partnership with the General Conference, WAD is hosting an intensive training session on using the Adventist Church Management System (ACMS) and the 7 ME tools. These applications, developed specifically by the Adventist Church, aim to improve the overall management of ecclesiastical databases.
These digital systems enable effective management of church members, church assets, and especially the finances of local churches up to higher organizations. According to Dr. Sessou Selom, WAD Executive Secretary, "The objective of this meeting is twofold: to improve the skills of treasurers and secretaries in handling data and to optimize the production of accurate and detailed reports."

The training brings together nearly 80 participants from all the French-speaking countries in the division. They will benefit from the expertise of two renowned facilitators sent by the General Conference: Tiago Moises Silva Dos Santos, Product Specialist, and José Miranda Huama, Senior Business Analyst. Together, they will explore advanced software features, particularly focusing on the design and management of financial and administrative reports.
This initiative is a key step in digitizing, managing data, and standardizing procedures within the Adventist Church. It is essential for adapting to contemporary administrative challenges and ensuring seamless integration into the digital landscape.
